The Man at
Ebbw Vale Swimming Pool
COMPLETED PROTOTYPE / CLOSED PROJECT
A familiar place begins to replay traces of itself.
The Signal Keeps Us grew from The Man at Ebbw Vale Swimming Pool: a man repeatedly visits the site as announcements, objects, broadcasts and routines return from uncertain years.
The project is complete and closed. It now sits within the studio’s prototype work, alongside experiments such as Dance Strobe and Buildings One: a test of atmosphere, structure, image, sound and production method that informs future narrative films.
