New Tarot Card Released: The Fool

Introducing The Fool, the first card in the Doki No Ki - Tarot of the Lost Futures series. This card symbolises new beginnings, curiosity, and the courage to step into the unknown.

The journey of “Doku no Ki” starts with The Fool – a symbol of beginnings, curiosity, and the courage to step into the unknown. In the tarot tradition, The Fool isn’t just a character; it represents a state of mind, a willingness to walk forward even when the path ahead is obscured by mystery. The Fool is both naive and brave, a figure on the edge of transformation, ready to embark on a journey that will change them forever.

In my painting for The Fool, I’ve tried to capture this energy. The character, known only as ‘Shinka Anima’, stands poised, looking out into the dark and sprawling urban landscape. Shadows fall and the lights of the city hint at secrets hidden in the alleys and skyscrapers.

The Fool here is not just a wanderer but an explorer, questioning the limits of reality and searching for meaning in a world that feels increasingly alien. This journey is not just physical but deeply personal. Every step is a leap of faith, a choice to learn, evolve, and discover. Like the original tarot card, my Fool carries a lightness – a willingness to embrace change without fear. In this way, The Fool reminds us that every journey, no matter how complex, starts with a single, courageous step into the unknown.

As ‘Doku no Ki’ continues, each tarot painting and accompanying story unfolds another chapter in the life of Shinka Anima. Together, these moments build a narrative that connects art, story, and the inner journey we all undertake. The Fool sets the stage, inviting viewers to step alongside Shinka Anima and explore a world filled with mystery, purpose, and the echoes of past lives.

Are you ready to take that first step?
