This building alludes to the brutalist car park featured in the film, a striking yet divisive structure that has since been demolished. Both the car park and the crumbling building serve as metaphors for the transient nature of time and the remnants of a bygone era. My painting captures this sense of loss and transformation, merging the cinematic legacy of Get Carter with the enduring drama of the coastline.
